You don’t even need a mixer.  Here’s how to make them: Ingredients: 240g all-purpose flour ½ tsp + ¼ tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt ½ tsp cocoa powder (secret ingredient!) 113g softened butter 200g brown sugar 40g white sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla flavour 200g chocolate chips (or as much or little as your heart wants) Instructions: Sift dry ingredients : In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder. Set aside. Cream butter & sugars : In another bowl, soften butter. Add both sugars and mix by hand until creamy and pale (about 5 minutes). Add egg & flavor : Stir in the egg and vanilla until well combined. Combine : Gradually mix in the dry ingredients in 3 batches. Don’t overmix.
